The Gurus

Be sure to unpack your Air-Guitar and to bring your questionable dance moves for this one. The Gurus have become one of The Tavern’s hottest bands featuring “Arguably, The Best Third Set In Ontario”. The Jesse Thomas Band

The Jesse Thomas Band is a six piece dance band from North Bay. They blend drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, sax, flute, samples, slide whistles, cowbell and more into an exciting and energetic funk infused vibe that is sure to get you tapping your feet and out on the dance floor. Jesse Thomas, son of local blues legend Jake Thomas has an unmistakeably powerful voice full of heart and soul, and is accompanied by a band that delivers a positive sounding, next level groove that's always in the pocket. The Gagnon Brothers are a well-loved country and rock cover band, led by siblings Rick and Al Gagnon. Darren Frost

Darren has spent over 30 years touring the world with his dark, high-octane brand of stand-up comedy. Known for hyper-driven criticism, lunacy, and fearless revelations, he commands audiences like few can. He’s appeared four times at Just For Laughs, recently taped Roast Battle Canada, and is the only Canadian comedian to independently release eight comedy specials—collected in The Darkness Within: 25 Hours of Uncensored Comedy. A two-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee, Darren has also appeared in major films and countless TV shows.

Ky Anto

His solo acoustic show will take you back to the late 60’s & early 70’s with tales from the road & beyond. Ky has performed on stages large and small all over the world, from the Troubadour in Hollywood, California to the Lazy Bones Festival in Hamburg, Germany. He has played drums for Scott Wino Weinrich (USA), guitar for Michael Monroe (Finland), bass for Carole Pope (Canada) among others. His music is now available on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music.
